And Let Your Body Feel the Decisions Before You Make Them

We live in a society that values logic above everything else.

When it comes to financial decisions, we're told to make a spreadsheet. Weigh the pros and cons. Use your prefrontal cortex. Think it through. Analyze. Compare.

But what if that's not how you're supposed to make the best decisions?

Ana Gaeta teaches something that's completely counterintuitive but deeply biblical. She calls it dreaming with God. And it starts with a question.

Before you go to bed at night, ask God a question about your financial future. Don't try to answer it. Don't analyze it. Just ask it. Write it down. And then go to sleep, trusting that the Holy Spirit will work on it while you rest.

The Bible shows us this pattern. God worked on creation while Adam was asleep. He created Eve from Adam's rib while Adam was resting. God doesn't need us awake to work on our behalf.

When you wake up, practice knowing that the answer is already inside you. You might not remember a dream. You might not hear a clear voice. But practice trusting that God has put the answer within you. Then go about your day and notice what comes up. A thought. A color. A feeling. A conversation that suddenly makes sense.

This activates a different part of your brain. Your imagination. Your intuition. The part that God designed to receive divine guidance.

But there's more. Once you have some clarity on what you want financially, the next step is to practice feeling it.

Take a financial decision you're facing. Maybe it's buying a home. Maybe it's starting a business. Maybe it's investing. Give yourself a timeframe. Three days. A week. Then spend time imagining that it's already done. Act as if.

What does it feel like in your body to own that home? What thoughts come up? What fears? What excitement? Don't judge the feelings. Just observe them. Because those observations will show you what your brain is predicting. And your brain's predictions are what's either driving your decisions or delaying them.

When you practice feeling the decision before you make it, something shifts. Your body gets familiar with it. Your brain starts looking for evidence that it's possible. And by the time you actually make the decision, you're not making it from fear or logic alone. You're making it from a place of alignment between your mind, your body, and your spirit.

That's when financial decisions become ones you love. And that's when you actually follow through on them.
